Odd Modd handbags are made-to-order and may include personalized engraved messages created specifically for the customer placing the order. Because each item is individually produced and personalized, most purchases are considered final sale once production has begun.
Customers are encouraged to carefully review all order details before completing payment, including personalization, spelling, shipping address, and product selection.
2. Personalized and Made-to-Order Items
All personalized and made-to-order items are final sale. Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled, modified, returned, or refunded.
Personalized engravings are created specifically for the customer who placed the order and cannot be resold to another customer. For this reason, returns and refunds are not accepted for personalized or custom-made items except in cases of verified manufacturing defects or shipping damage.
3. Damaged or Defective Items
If a product arrives damaged during shipping or contains a verified manufacturing defect, customers must notify Odd Modd within five days of delivery.
To initiate a review, customers must email info@oddmodd.com and include the order number along with clear photographs of the damaged item and the shipping packaging. This documentation allows Odd Modd to evaluate the condition of the product and determine eligibility for replacement.
If the claim is approved, Odd Modd will repair, remake, or replace the item at no additional cost to the customer. The determination of whether an item qualifies for replacement will be made at the sole discretion of Odd Modd.
4. Incorrect Orders
Customers are responsible for ensuring that all information entered during checkout is accurate, including the engraving message and shipping address. Odd Modd cannot be responsible for errors submitted by the customer at the time of purchase.
If an incorrect message, spelling error, or incorrect shipping address is entered during checkout, Odd Modd is not obligated to offer a refund, return, or replacement.
5. European Union Consumer Rights
For customers located within the European Union, consumer protection laws generally provide a fourteen day right of withdrawal from distance purchases. However, under Article 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made according to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
Because Odd Modd handbags are made-to-order and may include personalized engraving, these products fall within the category of customized goods and are therefore exempt from the standard fourteen day withdrawal period once production has begun.
Customers located within the European Union who place orders for non-personalized products may have the right to withdraw from the purchase within fourteen days of receiving the goods, provided the item is unused and returned in its original condition. The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by applicable law.
6. Return Authorization
Any return that may qualify under applicable consumer laws must first receive written authorization from Odd Modd. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
